| PASTEL WORKSHOP BY AWARD WINNING PASTEL ARTIST JEAN LAJAUNIE SATURDAY, June 26, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM 30414 Hwy 190, Lacombe, La. 70445 Cost $35.00, includes lunch. First an explanation of what "pastels" are so that people understand that pastels are truly a fine art medium. Secondly she will take students through the basics of pastels, strokes, pressure and mixing of colors. An explanation of the different grounds and what effect one can expect using the various grounds. Then students learn how to paint using pastels. Supply list given when you register.
