| Kids Of Our Lacombe Summer Teaching Opportunities |
| We are in the process of organizing Summer classes for kids and adults. The kids’ classes will be Monday – Thursday, one class meets 10 – 12 and another meets 1 – 3. I would like to schedule one teacher for each session, which means that you would teach a class Monday through Thursday from 10 – 12 or 1 – 3, for a total of eight hours for your class. If you want to do more than one session that’s fine too. An assistant is provided for your class and you are welcome to get volunteers to help out as well. One difference, in July, I have a teacher scheduled to teach Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 – 3 for the entire month. This class would be a clay slab building class. So on those afternoons, I could use a teacher on Monday and Wednesdays from 1 -3. I would like to have a brief synopsis of what you plan to teach by the first week in April so that I can get brochures mailed out mid-April. Adult classes: nights/Friday/Saturday during the summer. Looking for teachers to teach for an hour or two on weekdays during the week for four or six consecutive weeks during April and May. Pay scale: Previous teachers at the art center that are artists or classroom teachers: $50/hour (Must be a member to receive this pay scale.) New teachers or artists to the art center: $35.00/hour Student artist and student teachers: $25.00/hour All materials are paid for through the center, original receipts must be presented for payment.
