Organized exclusively for charitable and
educational purposes more specifically to reach at
risk students through art education. The primary
purpose of Kids Of Our Lacombe is to increase
student school attendance, increase student
motivation to learn and participate in the arts, and
to develop self-discipline and responsibility with the
students. It is a community art organization
supporting artists working in the visual arts. Our
mission is to foster creativity and art excellence;
provide exhibition space to new and established
artists; provide programs and activities that
encourage public awareness, participation, and
appreciation of the visual arts and to develop
interest in the arts through education, exhibition
and sharing.
KOOL was formed to promote its mission through:
presenting sponsored exhibitions of new and
established artists that are open free to the public;
conducting community events, often through
partnerships, to generate community participation
in the arts; and conducting seminars and classes
for people of all ages to enhance knowledge and
encourage creative experimentation.
