
| Mary Ann Anderson Mary Ann Anderson has been photographing wildlife/nature since 1999. Her present “camera of choice” is a Nikon D50, giving realistic visions of her favorite subjects of birds, heron, cranes, alligators, landscapes, and all that Louisiana has to offer. Her works have been accepted and displayed at Art Shows held by the Bayou Lacombe Art Center, St. Tammany Art Association, St. Bernard Art Guild, and Slidell Photography Club. Her accomplishments include: Honorable Mention for “Reflections” in the S.T.A.R.T. Pet Photo Contest –Slidell Library (1999); “Artist of the Month” - Mandeville City Hall (2002); Honorable Mention for “Cherokee Rose” - Northlake Nature Center (2003); Honorable Mention for “Nature’s Beauty” – St. Bernard Civic Center (2005); participating photographer at the New Heights Therapy Center Garden Party Fundraiser - Folsom (2007); Honorable Mention for "Player Piano" - Art in the Refuge (2010). |
